Small Ball, and strategy were prevalent on the day, both teams pitchers commanded the game and the clubs made play after play; gunning down runners all over the place.  However the Yanks managed to squeak across the eventual winning run in the 9th and Yankee pitcher Andrew Juba seemed to be the difference striking out all 6 Dragon batters he faced in the 8th and 9th. Yanks win series 2-0.

Arrowood goes 8 innings Striking out 18.  The offense was led by Ralston with 3 hits and Ramirez had 2 hits including a two run homer.

The Hawks held a 7-1 lead until the Sox battled back to tie the game in the 9th and eventually won in 11 innings.  Clutch hitting by both teams continued into the extra frames.  Brett Willams pitched the last three innings to get the win and added a solo homer.  Chimento, Ralston, Schourek, and Knox  were also offensive standouts
