A pitchers duel that saw little
action until the exciting 6th inning. The Yankees were
up 1-0 , when Jose Pabon hit an 0-2 ,2 out 2 run-homerun
to take the lead, but the Yanks mounted their second
comeback of the day. Down to their last out Brian Tirch
and Tim Nargi extended the inning by reaching base when
Robbie Kloehn singled to center to tie the game, then
with an 0-2 count Jamien Payne laced a single to center
to score two as the Yankees win this one as the game was
called due to rain 30 minutes later. |
