experience as a catcher. I played 3 years for Eckerd College in St Petersburg,
FL (1991-93, 95) and for the All-Navy baseball team in San Diego in 99-00. I
moved to this area and played for the Dale City Blues from 01-06. Moved
overseas from 06-09, was playing with DC - NABA last year and this year but the
fields are generally too far away. My throwing shoulder is almost completely
destroyed, thus, the switch to middle infield, but I'm solid at 2B. Work/family
means I'll have to miss some games. |

I played in this league from 2001-2003 for the defunct
Knights. I played in the San Diego NABA from 2005-2007, and the DC NABA
2008-2010. My fastball is in the low 70's, and I also have a decent curve, and
an average change-up. Honestly, I'm probably not ready to be a starting pitcher
out of the gate, but more suited for 2 or 3 inning relief jobs. If I'm not
pitching, I can play any position aside from 1st base and catcher. As for
hitting, I'm a contact hitter, I'm not much for striking out or walking, and you
probably won't see any home runs from me. If I'm not picked up for a regular
spot on a team, I have no problem filling in for any teams short on player any
given week. |
