In a classic matchup of two of the leagues top pitchers Pete Sullivan and Chance Mistric went head to head at Freedom HS on Saturday. Although the temps reached into the mid 90's Chance Mistric remained cool throughout his 9 inning complete game to help the Hawks improve to 10-0-1. While the big hitters from the Hawks struggled with the pitchers from EBC throughout the day, three unsung players (Scott Carrico, Tyler Ford and Mickey Retegui), came up big too provide the offensive punch the Hawks needed to come away with a 4-2 victory.
