Economic "striff", huh? If you're managing $145M, it's easy to see WHY there's economic striff!! And what exactly is "puristist enjoyment"? Mistric may be cocky, but at least he's not trying to make himself seem important by talking about how much money he manages. It's a league of has-beens, wannabes, and never-was's Ermi. No matter who you are you're one of those if you play here. Get over yourself. You got one thing right: anyone serving this country is a better man than you.

07-02-2008, 19:26 Anonymous Re: Chance paces the Hawks! How old is this guy? How many D1 Coaches will bring a guy in at 24 or 25? I can see him at lower level D1 schools like Mary Washington, or George Mason (do they have a baseball program?) But how many guys have you heard of playing pro ball from those type of programs. Not like he throws really hard.... gotta realize D1 righties throw upper 80's consistently. He has a breaking ball, but at times its VERY hittable. There are alot of D1 players in this league and you can tell when they play against Mistric, they tend to hit him well. Good luck to him and whatever his future endeavors maybe. Crappy attitude isnt going to get you anywhere.

If that was the case, we wouldnt have the FCC idiots in America. It says you can excercise your freedom. No one can prevent you from speaking. They can muffle it, bleep it over power it and delete it. You got to say it, they got to remove it. Go on live TV and say some of the special words George Carlin once talked about. You can say them.........but they will get bleeped. Theres your freedom. The freedom to get bleeped and deleted. lol At the same time, the League owns and operates the forums and website and reserves the right to limit and or monitor and censor the board. I got a post deleted a while ago, but its the Leagues board, and they may make changes they see fit in order to provide a positive experience for all. Wow, I was told to log on yesterday to read this discussion thread.  Ermi's original message to Chance seemed like a very complimentary and respectful email, yet Chance's response makes it seem like Ermi had wrote a derog. message...?  I don't get it.  But I would have liked to have seen the game that they were talking about, though, I was surprised to see the Hawks had taken such a pounding...11-1?   I figured it would be another low scoring game. I do hope the league keeps adding good players like Chance (minus the bad/oversensitive attitude) to the teams already laden with talent like the Red Sox, EBC, Hawks, Yanks to keep this league competitive.  One more thing, I never thought EBC (nor Ermi) was annoying, but wow are they LOUD.  Every time we play them their right fielder yells random things to us and the umpires and they're always making fun of themselves.  Hooligans, ha ha.  ...they can play ball, though.
