Hoover Beats Former Team To Put Dbacks In Semi-Finals

Dbacks P/DH Jon Hoover helped put the Dbacks in the semi-finals of the Tier II playoffs by coming up with the game winning hit in the bottom of the 8th inning with the bases loaded & 2 outs to plate the go ahead runs in the Dbacks 5-3 win over the Whitesox .

Hoover also got the win pitching 3 scoreless innings striking out 5 of his former teammates and giving up no hits .

hahahah skip why would you put this up here, against 8 guys? really i wish i didnt get hurt hopefully we get to the finals for a rematch with a full squad. either way good job hoover on 3 scoreless

Hey Otto , those 8 guys gave us fits on defense . Joe Masala pitched a hell of a game...well done Joe . 16 of our 24 outs were pop ups....including 6 outs in foul territory . That's good pitching !!

Hoover stepped up when he needed to for the Dbacks to win , both on the mound and at the plate .

i definitely thought the highlight of the game was when lofaso was ready to trade fisticuffs with the entire diamondbacks team. he may be little but there's fight in that kid...
