Chance Mistric pitched five innings giving up only 1 hit in a mercy rule game against the White Sox and went 3-4 from the plate with 2 singles, a double, and a homerun.

being i got the only hit off him, he was pretty nasty. fastball had some sink to it hard to hit square. nice pitching

You are right and he is human but when your team commits seven errors(no disrespect to any of the Hawks), even the best pitcher in any league would look human. EBC is a very good hitting team but Chance is 7-1 and has a 8:1 strikeout/walk ratio so far this season.

Well...im not normally the one to talk any sh*t but, my name wont be anonymous at the end either. This is Chance, and yes I am human but, Im far from being burned out Mr. Anonymous, not hardly. Even the best lose at times, and everyone has an off day, and when i pitched against EBC, it wasnt an off day. I dont need to explain myself, especially to an Anonymouse person. The Hawks are the best team in the league and when we actually do have all of our players playing at once, NO ONE, will beat us!!!! So, get your wins in while you guys can, I love being the underdogs anyways!!!

Chance this is Jeff Ermi. I wrote that. Just so you know I am not anonymous. I didn't mean anything disrespectful to you. I think your fine. My comments where directed to the fact that I think your probably throwing like 135 to 140 pitches each game. I think you probably threw 100 in the first three innings the other day. That's all. I just hope your not getting misused. That is the only thing I was implying. As far as all the errors(not sure if you wrote that) even if the score was 2-1 Frankie's ball is still probably in orbit.

Howver, I wouldn't call yourselves the best team in the league. Although I think the Hawks have improved greatly by your additon. Maybe you think that winning the Heritage Classic counts for anything. It is obvious that you must first win the Championship. With that said I don't think we are the best team in the league as we have yet to win the championship in two attempts. Actually I think the Red Sox's are the best team in the league. Not only because they won it last year, but they play a good quality of mistake free/clean baseball. They also are probably the olderst team in the league and know how to win. I would probably put the Blue's in the top three, but by far the best young team.
The Yankee's I would put in top three or four as he has the longest tenure as far as I know and been established with his players for such a great deal of time. The Hawks without you are decent, but by no means the top team. I would probably put them with you on equal status as EBC.

As far as whether EBC is the top team in the league I don't really give a ***. We just love to play.We love to hang out, sit back with a bunch of bears after(sometimes even during) the games and see what happens.

I do think that Rick is a good guy and has done a suberb job in adding talent(including yourself) to his roster over the past three years. I think Turbo probably feels differently though.

So, Mr. Chance I say to you sit back and crack a beer and enjoy the ride. I guess we will soon find out who the best team is this year. But then again I don't think it really matters much anyway.

I know you did not mean any disrespect, i was just simply letting you know that facts, that you obviously dont know me, because if you think im burned out, boy are you wrong. I wont sit here and talk sh*t over this message board, because obviously it doesnt mean a thing. I have no excuses, and will not give any. We play as a team, we lose as a team. But you are right in one aspect of the game, for you its a beer league. You are absolutely 100% correct. For me its to maintain my skills until i get out of the marine corps. So, you and your team can go out there and call it a beer league, but the hawks play to win, and besides im gonna continue to prepare myself for my 2nd round in college. No, disrepsect to you or any of your players, but that ball frankie hit was a good hit but not in orbit still it was just high, but nice observation coach...how about 9 k's in 5 innings...i dunno...but it wont happen again...i did k him up quite a few times in our meetings though. As for as who is the best team, sure we have several good teams, some a lot better than others but we will see who is the champions!!!! So, buckle up Mr. Ermi...oh and PS...the heritage tournament was a joke...who would ever count that towards anything?? The Red Sox forfeited the championship game...wow!!! Oh and sorry i misspelled anonymous...whooops!!! You could use some touching up on grammar as well...sorry once again!!!

Chance -- stick to your dreams. Ermi is right -- it's a beer league. But you're one of the better players and only get lit up occasionally by the washed up has-beens and wannabes you see each week. You'll make a pretty good D-III ball player someday, with the right coaching and maybe a better fitness program. Don't let the doubters and haters get you down.

I'm sick of hearing you talk. Type, whatever. EBC has fun and wins ballgames. They show up 5 minutes before gametime, sometimes warmup and then kick your @$$. I don't think it's smart to start a little tiff with EBC. Ramirez obviously touched you up already, I can't imagine if the full EBC squad showed up all at once. You'd be in for a long day toughguy. Hey guys this is Ermi

I don't think we are trying to start any type of problems with anyone player or any team.

I think the world of Rick and think I like the confidence that Chance shows.

He hasn't been around long enough to know that we have connections. I played Division one and have many connections through not only the two former AAA players on my current team, but access to people that could probably far more than he realizes help his career.

If he wants to start a tiff he should know that half of our guys were not there either.

let me see Teddy, Vaz, Timmy, TBONE!!! It's all good. Not to mention Bruce and his minor league connections and annual spring trip to Florida that at last count has signed the likes of Brian Mathews, Billy Wagner, and countless others. So let's just let him pitch against mostly inadequate competition and get his meaningless stats which will help him do nothing but get hurt. Let this run it's course. His attitude is starting to disturb me. He is obviously not EBC material. Let barking dogs stay in the kennel.

One thing I will say that he is more of a man than me for serving our country.

I must admit that I am entertained by this page that I stumbled accross and this has been a source of much needed escape for me and the 145 Million that I manage during this current economic striff we are going through.

Let's not forget that for most of us this just simple puristist enjoyment at it's finest. Chance probably is Division I material, but burning available bridges to assertain that goal seems kind of foolish. Appareantly, Chance doesn't know anything about me or the people I know. But that's cool, he can keep beating up on the White Soxs, the Diamond Backs, the Fairfax team and anyone else willing to pay the fee for this rec league. But be ready cause EBC is going to pound you again pretty soon.

I do think that Pete or Ian would out duel him any day of the week with EBC behind him. However he hasn't been around long enough to know what he's talking about.

Anyway I think that's about enough from all of us...
