A back-and-forth game in the second-half of a hot double header. Joel Patel gave
the Indians a solid 4+ innings before turning it over to Ben Quint, who
struggled but hung on for the victory. Mike Pierpoint got a slick save for the
Indians, getting the last out with the tying run base. ,,Fairfax was down 9-6
heading into the top of the last inning, but scored 5 to take the win.
With 2 outs and bases loaded, Chris Pope came through with a hump-back liner
game-tying single to left field, setting the table for an Indians win.
