Meadows Farms of Stafford and the Potomac Brewers had to go extra innings in
game 2 (normally 7 innings) of their double header to decide the winner. Ryan
Gramlich singled and drove home Derek Tunstall for the go ahead run in the
extra frame to take a 5-4 lead. Meadows reliever Bryan Parker then struck out
the side in the bottom of the eighth to save the game.
Ryan Gramlich started and dominated on the
hill as he struck-out 12 Potomac Brewers. The
Brewers will take on the Nationals in a night match-up next Sunday May 7th at
Veterans Park.
Meadows Farms will
meet up with the Fredericksburg Seminoles next Sunday at 4
PM.
