Prince William, VA---July 16, 2006

         Mark Sterling's two-out two run double in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted the Prince William Yankees to a 6-5 win over the Alexandria Red Sox Sunday in semipro Blue & Gray Baseball League  at Heritage Field in Woodbridge.
   The Prince William team turned double plays to end both the eighth and ninth innings to preserve the win.
  Steve L'Aquila was the winning pitcher for the Yankees, tossing three innings of scoreless relief..

  Next up:

 The Red Sox will face the Manassas Mets  at Woodbridge MS at 1:00 PM Saturday July 22nd.
