   The Prince William Yankees swept the Blue & Gray Championship Series defeating the Potomac Brewers 2 games to 0.

   Game 1 went 13 innings before the Yankees were able to edge the Brewers 5-4.

   Game 2 was a 1 run battle until the Yankees put up 2 runs in each the 8th and 9th inning downing the Brewers 9-4 and taking home the Blue & Gray Championship

 

The N. Virginia Dodgers edged the Fredericksburg Seminoles 1-0 and took home the Tier II Championship.

BLUE & GRAY 2006 Season Highlights:

In Cooperstown 2006 July 4th weekend, The Prince William Yankees won the 18 A Pool 1 and finished 3rd in the 18 A play-offs.

Results:  Hall of Fame Tournament

 In Atlantic City, 2006 Memorial weekend. the First Horizon Blues took home the 18 AA Championship, 

the Potomac Brewers took home the 18A Championship, the PW Yankees won the 18AA Pool.

The Blue & Gray Baseball ALL-STARS:

B&G hosted the DC Wood All-Stars at Prince William Stadium Monday Night July 11th , 2006 and dominated the game with 14 hits, 7 of them for extra bases and the Blue & Gray pitching staff surrendered only 1 earned run on 5 hits while striking out 9 DC Wood All-Stars for a 12-3 win at the Stadium.
